Follow these maintenance intervals for optimal wheel tractor scraper performance and longevity. Adjust intervals based on operating conditions, with more frequent service under severe conditions.
Daily/10 Hours
- Check all fluid levels
- Inspect for leaks and visible damage
- Check tire condition and pressure
- Drain water from air tanks
- Check cutting edge condition
- Clean radiator and coolers externally
- Test lights, horn, and backup alarm
- Check operator controls
Weekly/50 Hours
- Lubricate all grease points
- Check wheel nut torque
- Clean air filter pre-cleaner
- Check battery electrolyte level
- Inspect all hoses and belts
- Check articulation joint
- Inspect fire suppression system
- Check and adjust track tension (if applicable)
250 Hours
- Change engine oil and filter
- Replace fuel filters
- Clean or replace air filter elements
- Take oil samples for analysis
- Check cooling system protection level
- Inspect brake system components
- Inspect bowl, apron, and ejector components
