Maintenance Schedule Guidelines
Follow these recommended maintenance intervals for optimal asphalt paver performance, reliability, and longevity. Adjust based on operating conditions and manufacturer specifications.
Daily/10 Hour Service
- Check all fluid levels (engine, hydraulic, coolant)
- Clean conveyors, augers, and screed thoroughly
- Inspect for hydraulic leaks and damage
- Clean track or tire assemblies
- Lubricate daily grease points
- Drain water from fuel-water separator
- Check screed heating system operation
- Inspect hopper system and push rollers
- Verify all safety systems function correctly
- Apply release agent before operation
Weekly/50 Hour Service
- Perform all daily service items
- Check track tension or tire pressure
- Lubricate all weekly grease points
- Inspect conveyor chain tension
- Check air filter restriction indicator
- Clean radiator and hydraulic cooler fins
- Drain water from fuel tank
- Check battery electrolyte level
- Inspect all electrical connections
- Test all sensors and control systems
250 Hour Service
- Change engine oil and filter
- Replace fuel filters
- Check all drive belts for tension and wear
- Inspect all hydraulic hoses thoroughly
- Check screed components for wear
- Lubricate all 250-hour service points
- Inspect track components or wheel bearings
- Check all drive components
- Inspect material feed system thoroughly
- Clean or replace cab air filter
500 Hour Service
- Replace hydraulic return filters
- Check hydraulic pressure settings
- Check engine valve lash
- Inspect cooling system thoroughly
- Change transmission oil and filter
- Inspect engine and hydraulic mounts
- Check undercarriage components thoroughly
- Inspect all frame welds and connections
- Test all control systems and calibrate
- Perform complete operational test
